“Republic of Judges” presents an overview of some key events in Brazilian politics in recent years, such as the promulgation of the 1988 Constitution, the Mensalão trial and Operation Lava-Jato, to address the phenomenon of the growing participation of the Judiciary in the current configuration of power in the country.
